-Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Webiny Senior Developer with hands-on experience in building and customizing serverless applications using the Webiny Serverless CMS framework. The ideal candidate should have solid JavaScript/TypeScript skills, strong understanding of Webiny architecture, and experience working in AWS serverless environments.
This role requires the ability to develop scalable features, customize plugins, integrate APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a hybrid working model.
Key Responsibilities
-Webiny Development
Develop and customize Webiny CMS applications using JavaScript/TypeScript.
Create and maintain Webiny plugins, content models, workflows, and GraphQL resolvers.
Implement headless CMS features, extensions, and reusable components.
-Serverless & Backend Development
Build and enhance features using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, and CloudFront.
Optimize serverless functions for performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability.
Integrate third-party APIs and backend services.
-Architecture & Code Quality
Contribute to scalable architecture design for Webiny-based projects.
Perform code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure best engineering practices.
Troubleshoot issues across the full Webiny stack.
-Collaboration & Delivery
Work in Agile/Scrum teams, participating in standups, sprint planning, and releases.
Collaborate closely with testers, designers, DevOps, and product teams.
Provide technical mentorship to junior developers, if required.
Strong expertise in:
JavaScript/TypeScript
Node.js
Webiny framework (plugins, CMS, admin UI, GraphQL APIs)
AWS serverless services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFront)
Experience in GraphQL API development and customization.
Familiarity with IaC tools (Terraform / Pulumi / AWS CDK) is a plus.
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments.
Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
